Selling your watch from Cardiff
Send the details online first. Brand, reference, condition, box and papers if you still have them, and photographs of the dial, case back and bracelet. We aim to come back to you with a figure the same working day, so nobody crosses the bridge on a guess.
Come in when it suits you and we go over the watch in front of you. Payment is made by bank transfer or in cash the same day once we have checked your ID and the watch. For very high values, or sales outside banking hours, payment may follow on the next working day. What to bring: the watch, photo ID (passport or driving licence), and any box, papers, receipts or service records. You need to be 18 or over and the owner of the watch, or entitled to sell it.
On a higher value watch, consider consignment instead of an outright sale. We sell it for you at retail, with no fee unless it sells, and give you an online dashboard showing views, enquiries and offers as they land. For clients across the bridge this works well, because one trip over sets the whole thing up and everything after that is handled remotely. Buying and sourcing
All stock is authenticated before it is listed, with the movement, case and paperwork checked. You can view by appointment, and part exchange is welcome against anything we hold. Where the reference you want is not in the cabinet, sourcing it is routine, and we will be honest about what your budget reaches and how long a particular reference is likely to take to find.
Getting to us from Cardiff
The M4 east across the Prince of Wales Bridge, then junction 19 for the M32 into the city centre. It is roughly forty five miles and about an hour, with the bridge approach and the Almondsbury interchange the two places that slow at peak times. Rail is a good alternative. Cardiff Central to Bristol Temple Meads is a direct Great Western service of around fifty minutes running through the day, and Castlemead is a few minutes from the station. All visits are by appointment.
