Secure storage
From the moment your piece arrives it is held in secure storage at Castlemead. It leaves only for photography, servicing you have approved and agreed viewings. Pieces are insured while in our care, with cover up to £50,000. Anything worth more than that is discussed with you before you hand it over.
Authenticated before listing
Gabe, who is trained in watch authentication, checks the movement, case and papers before anything goes on sale. This protects your sale price and our reputation.
You approve every price change
We never move your price without you. If the market shifts, we propose a change and you approve or decline it with one click from your dashboard.
No sale, no fee. Withdraw before a sale is agreed
Withdraw any time before a sale is agreed. Request it from your dashboard and we will arrange for you to collect it from Castlemead. There is no fee from us for withdrawing; the only thing you would ever pay for is work you have asked us to do, such as a service, which we always quote first.
Paid promptly when it sells
Once the buyer's payment clears, we pay your proceeds by bank transfer or in cash, typically within three working days, with a statement for your records.
What to bring
When you bring the piece in, please bring photo ID, proof of address and any box, papers or receipts. The item needs to be yours to sell and free of any finance.
