Looked after, not sold to
We would rather you bought once and came back than felt talked into anything. The service is meant to be quiet, honest and useful. Here is what is available to you as a client.

The watch you actually want
Tell us the reference, the dial, the year, the budget. We work our network until the right example appears, and we tell you honestly when your budget will not reach it rather than selling you the nearest thing on the shelf.

Before it reaches the site
Good pieces can sell before we photograph them. Tell us what you are watching for and you hear about it when it lands, not when the website catches up.

Trade up in one conversation
Bring what you wear towards what you want. We value it in front of you and price the difference. Many collections are built this way, one trade at a time.

Nothing carries your name
Watches are personal and often private. Valuations happen away from the counter, consigned pieces are never listed with an owner's name, and we never share a seller's name with buyers.
About consignmentAftercare
Still here in five years
Servicing and repair by the watchmaker we work with, and honest advice on whether a piece needs work at all. We will tell you when leaving a watch alone protects its value more than restoring it.

Castlemead, in the middle of Bristol. Appointments mean the watches you asked about are out of the safe and on the desk when you arrive, and nobody is waiting behind you. Coffee is decent, pressure is nil.

Questions private clients ask
Can you find a watch that is not in stock?
Usually, yes. Sourcing is a large part of what we do, and the network reaches well beyond what sits in the cabinet. Give us the reference and budget and we will tell you what is realistic and roughly how long it should take.
Can I see a watch before committing?
Always. In person by appointment, or on a video call if you are not close to Bristol. We would rather you took your time than regretted a purchase. Request a viewing.
Do you hold pieces?
We can hold a watch for a short period while you decide or arrange funds. Talk to us and we will be straight about what is reasonable.
Is my purchase confidential?
Yes. We do not publish client names, we never share client details with other clients or buyers, and consigned watches are listed without any reference to their owner.
What if I want to sell it back later?
Come to us first. We buy outright, paid by bank transfer or in cash the same day once we have checked your ID and the watch, or we will sell it on your behalf on consignment if the piece suits that route better. Knowing the watch already usually means a stronger number.
